COLUMBUS, Ohio – Senator Jon Husted today announced the endorsement of Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, adding another statewide leader to his growing coalition of support. Yost also released a video message outlining why he believes Husted is the right choice to continue representing Ohio in the United States Senate.
Yost, Ohio’s chief law enforcement officer and a former prosecutor and auditor, said Husted has the proven, common-sense leadership Washington needs, citing his own experience leading statewide efforts to fight crime, protect consumers, and hold government accountable.
“Jon Husted is an American patriot. He has worked tirelessly for the people of Ohio to create jobs, protect children and back the blue,” Attorney General Dave Yost said. “The choice is clear next November. I’m voting for a true man of the people, not another Washington elite insider.”
“Dave Yost has consistently stood up for the rule of law, public safety, and the protection of Ohio families,” Husted said. “That commitment to common-sense leadership and results is one I share, and I’m grateful for his support.”
Husted officially launched his campaign last month, releasing a kickoff video, rolling out a statewide grassroots operation, and filing to appear on the 2026 ballot.
