COLUMBUS, Ohio — Sen. Jon Husted today earned the endorsement of the Ohio Senate Republican Caucus, underscoring party unity behind Husted as the campaign heads toward the general election. Ohio Senate President and Lieutenant Governor nominee Rob McColley praised Husted’s leadership and experience.
“Jon Husted has proven he is a results-driven leader who understands how to work effectively across state and federal governments,” McColley said. “His track record of success at every level of public service makes him the right choice to represent Ohio in the U.S. Senate. We are proud to endorse Jon Husted and look forward to continuing our work together to advance our values in Washington.”
In response to the endorsement, Husted said he was grateful for the caucus’s support and emphasized his focus on delivering results for Ohio.
