COLUMBUS, Ohio – Senator Jon Husted today announced the endorsement of Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague, building on the growing momentum from Ohio’s trusted statewide leaders. Sprague also released a video explaining why he believes Husted is the right leader to represent Ohio.

Sprague, who is responsible for safeguarding Ohio’s taxpayer dollars, said Husted has the new ideas Ohio needs in Washington.

“Since he was sworn in one year ago, Sen. Husted has demonstrated day in and day out why it is crucial to have new blood and fresh ideas representing Ohio in Washington. No one in D.C. understands the state better than Jon Husted, and I am grateful to call him my Senator.”

Husted officially launched his campaign last month, releasing a kickoff video, rolling out a statewide grassroots operation, and filing to appear on the 2026 ballot.
