COLUMBUS, Ohio – Senator Jon Husted today announced the endorsement of Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose in the race to keep his seat in the United States Senate. LaRose also recorded a video message outlining why he is backing Husted.
LaRose, who took over Ohio’s elections process after then Secretary of State Husted, has been a leading voice on election integrity and government reform. He said Husted brings the kind of common-sense leadership Washington needs.
“Jon Husted is a proven warrior for working families who has dedicated his life to service to his state and country. I’m proud to stand with him and endorse him for the U.S. Senate.”
Husted thanked LaRose for his support, noting the priorities they have championed together.
“Frank LaRose has been relentless in defending election integrity and demanding accountability,” Husted said. “I’m grateful for his endorsement because we share a commitment to common-sense solutions—lowering costs, strengthening communities, and expanding opportunity for Ohio families. That’s the approach I’ve brought to the Senate, and it’s the approach Ohio needs.”
Husted officially launched his campaign last month, releasing a kickoff video, rolling out a statewide grassroots operation, and filing to appear on the 2026 ballot.
